The 2026 AFL season is underway, and with it comes a fresh slate of player prop opportunities. Whether you are betting goals, disposals, clearances or fantasy points, the data from the Betsniper AFL Prop Tool is already flagging some compelling trends heading into Round 1. Here are five AFL player prop trends worth watching this week.

Jack Gunston 3+ Goals — 9/10 L10 @ $1.77 Ladbrokes

Nine out of 10. That is not a hot streak — that is a pattern. Gunston has been kicking 3+ goals so consistently this past stretch that it barely registers as a surprise anymore. His last 10: 4, 3, 5, 3, 2, 7, 4, 4, 3, 3. The only miss is a 2-goal game — he was still on the board.

Friday night at home against Essendon sets up perfectly. The Bombers conceded heavily through key forward channels last season, and Gunston playing at home in the season opener with a point to prove is a dangerous combination. Ladbrokes at $1.77 feels like it is not fully respecting w

Taylor Walker 2+ Goals — 8/10 L10 @ $2.60 TAB

The market seems to have decided Walker is a 50/50 chance to kick 2+ goals. The data says otherwise. He has done it in 8 of his last 10 — posting 0, 2, 1, 2, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2 — and his two misses were a 0 and a 1, both outliers in an otherwise clockwork pattern.

Heading to the MCG to face Collingwood on March 14 is not an easy assignment, but Walker thrives in big-game contested environments. He marks well, he kicks truly, and he has been doing this for 15 years. TAB is offering $2.60 — that is the kind of price you snap up when you see it on an 80% historical hit rate.hat the data is showing.

Josh Dunkley 105+ Fantasy Points — 8/10 L10 @ $1.98 Ladbrokes

The SCG does something to midfielders. It is a ground that rewards contested ball, hard running, and high-disposal volume — which is basically a job description for Josh Dunkley. Brisbane are travelling to Sydney on March 14, and if you believe in venue trends, this is where to look.

Dunkley's last 10 fantasy scores: 73, 109, 131, 147, 136, 91, 132, 113, 112, 133. His ceiling is 147. His two misses (73 and 91) were clear outliers — he is hitting 105+ in 8 of 10 otherwise. Ladbrokes has him at $1.98, right on the edge of value. That is the kind of price where the form data does the convincing.

Jeremy Cameron 4+ Goals (Value) — 6/10 L10 @ $4.10 Ladbrokes

This is the speccy of the group — and that is not a knock. Cameron posted 11 goals in one of his last 10 outings. He also had a 0 and a 1. That variance is the deal with Cameron: when he is on, he is devastating; when he is not, he barely registers. His last 10: 3, 2, 4, 0, 4, 6, 11, 5, 1, 4.

At $4.10 with Ladbrokes, you are not looking for a lock — you are looking for a player who can erupt, against a Fremantle side that will be tested defensively in Round 1. Six of his last 10 went 4+ goals. The price more than accounts for the risk.

Bailey Smith 30+ Disposals — 6/10 L10 @ $2.10 Betdeluxe

Bailey Smith had 43 disposals in one of his last 10 games. Forty-three. His last 10: 23, 36, 22, 34, 30, 31, 30, 43, 23, 26. The floor is around 22-23 when he is being managed or the game plan shuts him down, but on his best days he is essentially untaggable.

Six of those 10 cleared 30 disposals. Geelong play a style that funnels the ball through their midfielders, and Smith is right at the centre of that system. Betdeluxe is offering $2.10 for 30+ — a price that implies roughly a coin flip on something he has done 60% of the time recently. Ladbrokes matches that if you prefer.
